Your contract for purchases made on this website is with Glamorous Bridal Gowns.
You agree that email can be used as a long-distance means of communication. No contract for the sale of any goods will exist between you and Glamorous Bridal Gowns unless and until Glamorous Bridal Gowns have received payment in full for all of the goods you have ordered and Glamorous Bridal Gowns has confirmed the order by email to the email address you have supplied. This confirmation email amounts to acceptance by Glamorous Bridal Gowns of your offer to buy the goods from Glamorous Bridal Gowns or any 3rd party supplier that is engaged on your behalf by Glamorous Bridal Gowns.
You must check that all of the details in the confirmation email are correct as soon as possible. If any detail is not correct or you have any questions please email info@glamorousbridalgowns.co.uk immediately.
Glamorous Bridal Gowns will not pass your credit card, debit card or any personal information to any third party except as required for fraud prevention and/or as required by law.
You undertake that all details you provide to Glamorous Bridal Gowns for the purposes of ordering and purchasing goods are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the costs of any goods ordered. If you supply incorrect or inaccurate address details and your order is returned to us as a result of this, a charge will be made for re-delivery.
We regret we cannot be held responsible for any delays or failures of any delivery agents used. In the unlikely event that your goods have been lost in transit we are unable to refund, re-order or resend goods until our enquiries have been completed. This can take up to 21 days but in most circumstances this will be resolved much sooner. If there are any changes to the contact details supplied by you when ordering, it is you responsibility to inform Glamorous Bridal Gowns as soon as possible. You must quote your order number on all correspondence.
Returns
Please email info@glamorousbridalgowns.co.uk to obtain a returns reference number before sending any goods back to us. No returns will be accepted or processed without a returns reference number clearly stated on the outside of the parcel.
All returns should be sent via an insured, trackable courier service to the returns address supplied when you apply for your returns reference number as above. Please note that you are responsible for all costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. We do not collect goods. Glamorous Bridal Gowns advise you for your own protection to retain proof of postage in case the goods are damaged or lost in transit.
Goods must be unused, unsoiled and in re-saleable condition with all labels still attached. We are unable to accept returns on ‘made to measure’ goods except where we have made a gross mistake with your measurements. Glamorous Bridal Gowns is entitled to make a charge for damaged goods and this may affect the total amount credited to you.
You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for goods supplied or services carried out such as postage and packing. The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 require that the consumer will provide written notice of a cancellation within 7 working days. The 7 working days start from the day after you have received the goods. Glamorous Bridal Gowns is entitled to make a charge to reflect the cost of collecting the goods from the customer and deduct this from the refund. If the packaging is damaged or goods are missing this may affect the total amount credited to you.
Glamorous Bridal Gowns retains the right to levy a charge on canceled orders to cover delivery and handling costs, which is currently a 25% restock charge inclusive of postage charge. (This applies to orders which have been dispatched before notification in writing from you). When Glamorous Bridal Gowns receive notification from you that you wish to withdraw from the contract (in accordance with these terms) any sum paid to Glamorous Bridal Gowns from your credit card in relation to your order will be re-credited to that credit card account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order less any delivery or administration charges provided that the items are returned to us in an unused condition with all labels and tags still attached.
Made to Measure/Custom Made/Special Orders
Made to measure, custom made and special order items all require a non refundable deposit to be paid upon placing the order. As these garments are being made personalised to your own specification and/or measurements we are unable to sell them to anyone else so if you cancel your order we are unable to refund any deposit paid for these orders. These items due to their nature are also exempt from the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Liability
Glamorous Bridal Gowns attempt to ensure that the information available on the website at any time is truthful and accurate. Glamorous Bridal Gowns will do its best to correct errors and omissions as quickly as practicable after being notified of them. In the unlikely event that you receive goods which were not what you ordered or which are damaged or defective, or are of a different quantity to that stated on your order form, Glamorous Bridal Gowns shall, make good any shortage or non-delivery, replace or repair any damaged or defective goods, or refund to you the amount you paid for the goods in question PROVIDED THAT you notify Glamorous Bridal Gowns of the problem in writing to the address or email stated in the confirmation e-mail within 7 working days of delivery of the goods. NOTHING IN THIS CLAUSE AFFECTS YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.
Glamorous Bridal Gowns do not accept liability for:-
Business losses and/or losses to non consumers. Goods delivered to addresses given by the cardholder and which have been signed for by other than the card holder. Incorrect measurements given to us on "made to measure" garments.
Please Note:-
Caution must be maintained when having goods sent to a Work or Alternative address as Glamorous Bridal Gowns will not accept liability for goods which have been signed for by the address or company in which the goods were delivered other than the cardholders address at your request. We strongly advise if you work in a place which have a high number of staff, you have the goods delivered to your home address otherwise tracing can be difficult in these circumstances.
Processing of orders
Credit and Debit cards are debited before items are shipped by Glamorous Bridal Gowns. All prices include VAT and taxes (where applicable) unless otherwise stated. Every purchase you make shall be deemed performed in the United Kingdom. UK law shall govern every aspect of contractual agreement concerning purchases made from this web site.
Delivery Time
10 weeks from date of placing order. We will contact you by email when garments are ready for delivery.
Complaints
If you feel you have any cause to complain, contact us via email info@glamorousbridalgowns.co.uk. We will respond to all queries and complaints within 2 working days. When emailing us please include as much information as possible including your order reference number, name and address.
Delivery/Title/Risk
Any delivery period stated is approximate If your delivery address is outside of United Kingdom you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country, Glamorous Bridal Gowns advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information.
You agree that as the importer of any goods ordered you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving goods. Please note that when shipping products internationally you should be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities

Paypal provides a cost-effective gateway which allows Glamorous Bridal Gowns customers to securely pay for goods and services ordered from our web site. The security and privacy of all card details are maintained by Paypal and offers high levels of encryption, (SSL, 128-bit encryption, the highest level of protection possible and AVS - Address Verification Service) transactions are authorised within seconds.
Paypal is a secure, online, real-time payment service provider, supporting all major credit and debit cards.
Miscellaneous
It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order. Anyone caught wilfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law without exception. Glamorous Bridal Gowns tracks the electronic 'fingerprints' & of every order placed on www.glamorousbridalgowns.co.uk to enable us and all legitimate crime prevention and prosecution authorities to trace individual users engaging in criminal activities on our website. Every order is checked with the card issuer to ensure the details you have supplied match with those on the card issuers database. All cases of Fraud and attempted Fraud are immediately reported to the Police for investigation. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions and/or you have changed your mind about your purchase, please click the 'Cancel Order' button on our shopping cart.
Glamorous Bridal Gowns may amend these terms and conditions from time to time, and post the new version on the website. When Glamorous Bridal Gowns do so, Glamorous Bridal Gowns will mention the fact on our home page www.glamorousbridalgowns.co.uk. All purchases from the date of posting onwards will be governed by that new version. You are advised to read (and are responsible for reading) all information on this website fully.
