1 Waist - tie a piece of string or ribbon comfortably around your waist - this will help with measurements taken later.

2 Height- Measure from the hollow in your neck (where your collar bones meet) to the hem of your dress - make sure you wear shoes when you do this.

3 Neck - you only need this measurement if your dress has a high collar.

4 Shoulders - Shoulder tip to shoulder tip across your back.

5 Shoulder to bust - From the top of your shoulder to your nipple.

6 Shoulder to Waist - This is where the string around your waist will come in handy.

7 Bust - If you are wearing a bra on your wedding day then please wear it to take this measurement around the fullest part of your bust.

8 Upper Bust - Above your bust in the same way as above.

9 Under Bust - Below your bust as above.

10 Nipple to Nipple - bust point to bust point.

11 Tummy - Around the fullest part of your tummy.

12 Hips - Keep the tape parallel to the floor and measure around the fullest art of your hips.

13 Arm hole - This will be the size of your sleeve hole so make it as deep or as tight as you are comfortable with. If you want take a measurement from a garment you already have.

14 Armpit to Elbow

15 Upper Arm Length - Outer shoulder to elbow.

16 Bicep - Around the fullest part of your upper arm.

17 Arm length - Outer shoulder to wrist with your arm bent.

18 Outer Leg - From waist to floor with your shoes on and standing up straight.
